NATURE TOUR

The natural history tour consists on a walk that takes about 3 hours walking through one of the trails in one of the different private reserves in the Monteverde area.
During the walk the guide will explain in a comprehensible and easy way about the different ecosystems of the cloud forest, flora, fauna, symbiotic relationships and history of the area.
On the walk it is possible to see different species
of birds such as: tanagers, warbles, toucans, wrens and if you are lucky you might see a quetzal.
Some of the mammals that are often seen along the trails are howler monkeys, white faced monkeys, agouties and coatis.
This tour is recommended for those who enjoy learning about nature and how tropical forest ecosystems work.

-Waterproof jacket
-Camera (smart phones to takes pictures through scope)
-Insect repellent (rainy season only)
-Hiking shoes
-This tour last approximately 2/30 to 3 hours.
-Private and shared tours are offered according to your needs, preferences and budget.
-Tour time is 7:30 am. (private tour can be done any time) Best time in the morning.
-The limit per group is 8 people in shared mode.
-Transportation can be easily arrange, not included.
-Guide carries a powerful crystal clear spotting scope for customer use.
